All armor and weapons made for use within the Astarian Empire for their soldiers can be found cataloged by their stats here on the AIC Armor Information Card or the WIC Weapon Information Card. Armor and Weapons are classified as tools to be used in support of an individual directly by either offering them damage, protection, skills, abilities, magic power, or resistances. Starting with more modern equipment, this page also covers the adventuring equipment and gear associated with less technological worlds.
Military Armor
The armor used by the empire which consists of armored plates offering protection to soldiers, adventurers, mecha, tanks, ships, buildings, or anything else which will need armor . These armor pieces offer high resistance to burning, corrosion, kinetic impacts, energy impacts, and magical impacts. The thickness of the sheets or how the molded piece is made allows for the armor to be scaled to cover even the largest of armored units in the galactic empire. Painted in a shimmering black, they are seen as terrorizing the galaxy in their black armor. Within the Astarian Empire the soldiers are outfitted with the best possible equipment. Regardless of one's active role all combat soldiers are issued an Under Armored Suit or UAS to be worn under their uniform. It is a skin tight black garment allowing for the body to heat and cool itself naturally under extreme temperatures. It offers some protection and resistances to protect the wearer and is free forming as it is made to fit all races of people. The toughest hides of Beastmen to the toughest scales of the Lizardmen, the UAS will fit them all. On top of the UAS is the standard issued uniform or adventuring gear. IF not wearing adventuring gear the soldiers of the empire will wear Standard Armor Suit SA or Combat Armor Suits in a Light or Heavy variant. Although the Standard Armor Suit SA has an interesting look to it with large slots down the back, it offers less statistical advantages being more bulky then Light Combat Armor and less protective than Heavy Combat Armor. The SA offers one specific advantage and that is it allows for the integrated use of the Kinetic Improvement Suit or KIS. The KIS allows for better improvements to movement, lifting, and protection while being a platform to build the various armors on top of the suit. Specialized Combat Armor
Light Combat Armor:
Light Combat Armor or LCA is made up of LCA plates which are extremely hard electrostatic treated ceramic material which is made up of thin layered sheets then formed by heating and working it on an anvil. The LCA plating is rated against 1 IR-01 rounds on a welded fused joint while standard LCA is rated against 2 IR-01 rounds. These thin plate pieces can be punched and either strung together or riveted into place to make simple yet sturdy armor pieces. When compared to other items of similar types using iron or steel forging they are found to be much more expensive but offers a huge boost in defensive power. Due to the nature of the thin sheets, this armor type can be used to make adventuring gear, soldier combat armor, or even heavy armor that isn't tied to the KIS.
Heavy Combat Armor:
Heavy Combat Armor or HCA is made up of HCA plates which are extremely hard electrostatic treated ceramic material which is either formed and molded into a specific shape or is made up of thin layered sheets. They can be fused or welded together in the field to repair or remove the armor in a somewhat easy manner. The HCA plating is rated against 2 IR-01 rounds on a welded fused joint while standard HCA is rated against 4 IR-01 rounds. Due to the nature of how this armor is made it can be used to make legendary grade adventuring gear, heavy combat armor, or even heavy armor that is tied to the KIS and KIS systems.

UAS Description
Under armor suits (UAS)
The under armor suits that all standard soldiers and adventurers wear under their uniforms or gear offer great comfort and protection. They feature built-in heating and cooling bio-electrostatic gels to regulate body temperature and to reduce the buildup of temperatures from all kinds of sources woven within the fibers of the fabric. The gel acts as an insulator but also has the properties to absorb impacts and disperse the energy across the body reducing damage. When hooked up to special armor suits or a KIS, it can receive electrical signals to further its capabilities. The gel contains micro nano machines capable of repairing the damage as well as making new bio-electrostatic gel if needed in destroyed places temporary. They can expand and contract using electromagnetic signals allowing the user to harden themselves to absorb even the greatest of impacts. It also offers some solar thermal and standard radiation resistance found naturally on various worlds. Using the body's natural electromagnetic energy, this allows the suit to use bare minimum capabilities while offering the same level of protections when not hooked up to a power source of some kind.

History and Variants of the UAS
Needing something to cover every race the same and offer protections even when not wearing standard uniforms, the UAS was created. A standard solid black suit that is made of a stretchy material which fits to any size and shape, offering comfort and protections while also staying within empire guidelines.
The UAS Mk 1 was the standard for a long time as technology slowly improved the suits themselves. Made by infusing bio-electrostatic gel into the fabrics woven into the under armor, this gel has certain temperature regulation and impact resistance properties. The gel helps to distribute the force across the suit reducing shock wave effects and improve blast range survivability.
The UAS Mk 2 was a breath of fresh air due to its increased breathability and cooling as well as its absorption of the body's electromagnetism. This improved the functions of the UAS greatly.
The WUA-01 is a variant of the UAS MK 2. It is much thicker being close to the thickness of the uniform itself as it offers the highest levels of protections and is powered by a small micro cell. Being charged by an energy dock or by magic, the suit enters into combat mode and activate the micro cell battery to super charge the suit. Although the battery only lasts 15 minutes it was a god send against power mech units and other super heavily armored enemy soldiers in the field.
The MUA-01 was developed to allow users to use their magics more freely. With many magic casters using some form of catylist to cast their magic, more and more users are able to freely shoot off spells so long as they have the power to do so. As the empire began to train the mages to use the magic around them as well as in themselves, they made a suit which won't block the natural magic around them. Ultimately this was a resounding failure across the board. The only good thing which came from the extensive battle tested armor was the ability to enhance it with magic.
The MUA-02 was rapidly developed to allow users to use their magic. With the failure of the Mk 1, the newer armor suits didn't fail as horribly. With better Magical and energy absorption systems in place, a battery which stored energy for the suits usage was naturally charged by the users Magical powers. Unfortunately the enhancement abilities of the suits were lost due to rapid iteration and development.
The MUA-03 was developed with all the goals in mind of the first 2 suits before it. It allowed for extensive spells to be fired off rapidly while being enhanced through tubes with runic scripts inscribed down the armor's trim lines. Offering great protection and magical absorption, the only main issue was the amount of magic absorbed from the environment or user. The percentage was too low as it was losing too much magic in the exchange. Trying to keep up the magical capabilities that are needed by various combat magic styles, the suits needed to be further.
The WUA-02 is an upgraded version of the WUA-01 and offers a huge improvement to the batter life with rapid regeneration using all sources from energy to magic around the user to keep it charged. This new iteration features all the same protections and allows for the battery to be charged even while it is taking damage. Being charged by an energy dock, magic, the environment, or even radiation allows the suit battery to last an average of 60 minutes for each fully charged battery. Additional battery modules can be inserted and installed in the suit allowing for even more extended use.
The MUA-04 was final developed magical under armor suit for use within the empire. It allowed for extensive spells to be fired off rapidly while being enhanced through tubes with runic scripts inscribed down the armor's trim lines as well as offering magical points on the tops or bottoms of the hands to act as a catalyst. Offering even greater protections with enhanced magical absorption, the amount of magic absorbed from the environment or user was increased to a minimum of 80% and an absolute maximum to 98%. The fall off percentage was within range and not much magic was lost in the exchange.

KIS Description
The Kinetic Improvement Suits or KIS is worn over Soldier Armor Suits SA's. In order to improve the strength and mobility of the wearer it is used to support the heavier armor units as it acts as a powerful frame. It can be used on top of space armor suits allowing for better mining and equipment use in space and other situations but it becomes an interesting situation as it uses 2 KIS units in that regard. Acting as a platform for other armor and gear to be placed on, it is mainly used as an additional support tool for physical labor and construction. When used with heavy equipment, armor, or weaponry a powered system can be used to greatly enhance the KIS improving mobility and strength allowing for more efficient and precise movements. Acting as an exoskeleton loader of sorts it can come with large hands in many different configurations for work like large power claws, drilling laser, titanium tipped drill, powered clamp and many other things which can be used as combat equipment if needed. The KIS on top of SA can hold various types of armors like the AS, HAS, or SAS.

History and Variants of the UAS
The KIS units were always worn when doing physical labor and freight movement and deliveries. They greatly increase the physical power of the user without requiring and power. When a space port was attacked long ago from a force consisting of standard bandits and light tanks and mechs, the soldiers who were defending had to come up with a plan to hold them off. They decided on using the KIS by welding armor plates around the units offering more protection. They welded various kinds of weapons to their arms and hands from rivet guns, mining claws or lasers, welding torches which were set to push pressurized gas outwards and any other things they could find. Their militia of knock off mini mech warriors impressed the empire and the KIS was developed to become a powered unit for combat.
The KIS-01 is composed mainly of thick hardened steel using mainly gears and springs to induce power free movement. It was the standard for a long time as technology slowly improved the suits themselves.
The KIS-02 is an upgraded version of the KIS-01 in every way possible. It has rivet points and an improved cage unit which can enclose around a unit allowing for armor to be secured to it. It has a large battery pack which holds a 4 hour charge allowing for powered movement and operations wearing the heaviest armor suits. Unfortunately this unit was known as a Popping Turtle, being with the large backpack like exploding bomb on a soldiers back. It also required attached armor pieces to either have no back armor or greatly reduced back armor due to its sheer size.
The KIS-03 had a new battery pack system which has 5 smaller battery units linked together by thick cables in a spine-like pattern down the back side of the armor. This new system extends the battery life to 10 hours. Even more protections were added to the back plate to stop those unwanted fireball turtles from appearing on our side. This allowed for other suits to be worn without the large exposed backside. The armor is further strengthened to improve durability in the field.
The KIS-04 has a large back piece which makes up the entirety of the suit's power system. It has a built in radiation type charging unit which can absorb sunlight or other radiation and convert it to a charge. The thinner and larger unit allows for a 14 hour charge with a slow charge movement system which generates a low charge as the unit moves with a gear mechanism installed on each leg. It greatly reduces the power consumption by 15% each leg as the unit walks. Improvements were made to make this unit the most well fitting unit with extendable crossbars to fit any size and race of people in the empire. The only downside to this improvement suit is the required power to do simple tasks, therefore a large power cable held overhead by winch or crane can make workloads easier.

Standard Armor Suit SA
"As the Black Fleet Approaches the world, the pods and ships descend upon the fires of the world. Seen marching across the hellscapes and ruined lands the clank of their boots and shifting armor draws your attention. The midnight raven flies across the battlefield looking for prey to take like the soldiers who march in their black armors reigning terror across all lands they walk. Bullets seem to bounce between them and magic glides across them. Our only hope is an anti tank weapon which managed to take a few of them out but that mistake has been burned into my soul. Seeing them turn and begin to open fire turning buildings hollow and people into mist. I will never forget the lands we lost in mere hours to a force from the skies."

SA Description
Standard Armor Suits (SA)
The Standard armor suits consist of thin titanium plates layered between chemically treated metallic and ceramic plates that have been coated in an energy resistant and electronized bath. This helps keep their rigidity, form, and improve survivability in most climates and during intense elemental storms. This armor is rated against the IR-01 to withstand 4 rounds while maintaining a strong resistance to kinetic weapon impacts in other places around the armor when damaged. While most soldiers will prefer to wear Light or Heavy Combat Armor instead of the SA, a few special forces do prefer the bonus of using a KIS when given the chance. Finding a KIS in a battlefield can change the fate of the battle if one is able to remove the KIS and equip it to themselves. Since it offers greater mobility, the SA will be able to be further enhanced with other armor suits on top of the SA. Although it is the weakest of soldier armor within the empire, its modular strap and clasp design allow it to fit all body types and sizes for any race in the empire. Comparing it's stats versus standard full plate warrior armor is interesting, the full plate armor offers the same level of basic protection but is susceptible to heat based spells and magic while offering no kinetic or bludgeoning resistance.

History and Variants of the SA
The date which is most notable of use is by the 301st engineering crew as they used a modified KIS unit in combat as they were under attack while doing maintenance within the newly taken territory. Seeing the ability to lift super heavy weapons like tank turrets and tank machine gun emplacements, the higher ups were impressed by how these suits offered great mobility and power. Changing the base level armor came in a few years time as more and more people slipped out of the harness of the KIS which led to more injuries and wounds in combat.
The SA Mk 1 was the solution to all of the problems. Using a super heated pipe piece, they dug a groove down the main spine of armors' back so the harness unit would slide and lock in place. This fused the armor piece to the KIS when worn for long times or exposed to heat. A new solution was needed to not lose armor suits or a KIS in the process.
The SA Mk 2 was a harness built around the armor piece and then a person slipped into the bars to use the SA with the KIS attached. This method was widely adopted for goblin and other smaller races who could easily fit into the small holes. A short production cycle made for the armor to be pushed off of standard ships and onto the smaller races.
The SA Mk 3 Was a heavier armored variant of the SA Mk 1 while being developed along the same time. Although additional armor pieces could be welded to it for more armor at the closet of speed and power, it wasn't used often as it became harder to use for the average person.
The SA Mk 4 was an even heavier but sturdier variant of the Mk 3 allowing for a huge range of protections and thicker armor plates. These soldiers were inside their armor and were treated more like knights and champions instead of random crew coming and going armor to armor.
The SAL-03 is the final variant of the newly upgraded SA MK 2. It is larger and not fused together, instead being designed and made to attach to a KIS. This armor offers the highest levels of protection and unique modular capabilities for other armors to encase the SA. The standard normal armored SA unit within the empire.
The SAH-05 is the final variant of the newly upgraded SA MK 4. This armor is top of the line in all stats and comes in various sizes for many of the races to use. Some specialized combat roles use this armor instead of the other specialized armors due to the integrated systems and lack of need of heavier armors. The standard heavily armored SA unit within the empire.

Heavy Armor Suit HAS
"The most terrifying thing to see in the ancient days was a large group of heavily armed and skilled knights. or a massive horde of strong warriors numbering in the hundreds of thousands. In this modern era a warship is a terrifying experience as it can siege an entire planet. But what about everything else, there is nothing to fear. That is until the Black Empire had a single squad of heavily armored knights walk across the battlefield. They caused all manner of carnage to all forms of matter, from life itself to the land and buildings around them. They walk with terror, every step they spew flames, shoot magic, their weapons tear through the toughest of armors, they walk of every bomb and cannon we throw at them. Each one of them is a warship!"

HAS Description
Heavy armor suits or HAS are large bulky walking tank like weapons which are fully environmentally sealed and used by the baddest of the bad. Using its large arsenal of weaponry and vast amounts of systems within the armor, they offer great protections on any planets they walk across. Built atop a KIS unit, the protected soldier is wearing their UAS and SA issued armor allowing them to walk off the strongest of blasts and other impacts, even if the armor is damaged the soldier is still over 95% combat effective. Being composed of thick titanium armor plates layered with TDA plating, most forms of kinetic and energy weapons damage tend to fall off after absorbing its impact and distributing it across the armor. The HAS is rated against 20 IR-01 rounds before it is completely compromised. Stronger armor plates and equipment can be placed on top offering even better protection but then the argument becomes should it be called a mech at that point. The HAS commonly includes numerous auxiliary systems such as communicators and auto-senses. The chest plate over the KIS contains the main micro fusion power source, environmental operation system, and other additional enhancements. While space armor is most commonly associated with the orbital strike force or super heavy space combat soldiers due to their immense life supporting and combat enhancing systems, they are not typically used by magic casters. The HAS has been modified to better enhance and support magic casters and even other races within the empire which uses non-standard armor. Special variant armor fills the gap for Dragonians, Human Form Dragons, Large Demons, and Beastmen as it is made to change to their body size and shape using slides and extenders. When doing so The armor may be less protected or in some cases missing areas due to the large size, but this is far from normal. The Special variant was mostly made for Beastmen as their Beast Form tends to destroy their armor. Due to the nature and types of magic the suit can help adjust magic to a standard form making all magic more streamlined and easier to cast through the hand port of the HAS. The HAS has great mobility in contrast to its bulky size and shape using special fiber optic energy cables woven into muscle fibers to add even greater movement. Considered more rare than combat armor or space armor they are normally outfitted onto a few members of each squad to act as pack mules pulling various objects and acting as vanguards on the battlefield. They can use all heavy weapons efficiently and support other teammates in the field. The HAS holds many canisters to absorb the energy that is dispersed when using the suit which acts as not only extra power sources but also extremely volatile explosive grenades. The canisters are filled as it absorbs dispersed energy and heat from weapon impacts with energy and plasma weapon types generating more heat to be dispersed, this allows the canisters to be reusable and act as smaller power sources for any who need it. Various back supports or weapons are nicknamed packs due to their functionality and location as they offer various levels of additional effects for the soldiers wearing HAS. The backpacks or packs include; Booster Pack, Shielding Pack, MTD Pack, Supply Pack, Medic Pack, Ammo Pack, Mechanic Pack, Resource Pack, and Artillery Pack.
Booster Pack or BT-P-02: The main cool factor and primary pack for every promotional items within the empire. It is a large booster which will send the powered armor high into the sky as it lifts them with great force. They have an automated pressure release which pushes hard against the ground before impact as the suit falls allowing it to land gracefully. The booster pack can be set to maintain its height at a mid range for up to 1 minute, or it can be outfitted with an energy canister or 3 to make it into a super rocket. Although the system will be completely messed up when using canisters and takes a while to reset, getting across the entire battlefield in a pinch is super helpful.
Shielding Pack or SH-P-03: Has a massive shielding unit which expends charge as it absorbs impacts. Due to its fluidity, it only stops fast moving projectile weapons. Attacks such as plasma and energy will hit the shield and disperse across the surface eating more of the shield with each hit. When attaching power sources like energy canisters or generators, this will enable the Shielding Unit to block entire barrages from energy forces from ground or space. The main issue with it is it is unable to allow passage of friendly projectiles when the shield is up. Acting as a large shield generator in the field blocking powerful places, the armor can be used as a temporary set up as an emplacement allowing for all the suits power to go into the shields strength. It is common to see a shielding pack on a greatly armored shield bearing unit or mech as it acts as a wall allowing other units to set up their heavy weapons. When the shield goes down they unleash true hellfire fury consisting of flames, plasma, and metal across the enemy line. Shield units also will be swarmed by the strongest of swarm units as they do many hit and run attacks leaving and returning to the safety of the shield. Due to how the shield operates, friendly units have learned you must run or walk into the shield to be protected. Using a booster pack makes you hit the shield like a wall.
MTD Pack or MTD-P-01: A Magic Transference Device which better handles the absorption and generation of magical storage for the user. This in tandem with other boosts the armor is given allows for spells to be used as the user needs them with almost no dip into their magical power.
Supply Pack or SP-P-02: Contains entire field kits to house up to 100 soldiers. An extremely large vacuum sealed box is placed on its back which holds massive tents and other items to get survival started. The shock on the enemy when they captured this power armor suit and opened it within their base was priceless. Blowing open the box as large vacuum sealed tents explode upwards and outwards setting up across their space as other camping and survival items went flying. One extremely irritated commander was even hit in the face with a pan.
Medic Pack or SP-P-03: The main backbone of the medical corps across the empire. One suit opens up completely and contains an entire surgical unit inside to patch people up in the field or in field hospitals. Although they are all painted white and are seen with various green crosses and other medical wording to be non combative, they do not posses any weapons. A chief or veteran surgeon will have their own unit to take them to and from the battlefield arriving in not only style but extremely cool power armor. This suit also features large dome like solar panel shoulder pieces to maintain constant charging and a port for energy canisters or generator.
Ammunition Pack or AM-P-01:
Mechanic Pack or EG-P-02: A large collection of heavy tools which can be powered by the suit as it does some repairs and construction work anywhere, even on the field of battle.
Resource Pack or RP-P-01: Otherwise known as the Pack Mule - 01, The resource pack allows for the user to carry and pull the heaviest of equipment across the battlefield. Apparently 20 of these suits were able to drag an entire warship across large steel logs and move it from one ocean body to another.
Artillery Pack or AT-P-01: Holding 20 more Canisters, the Artillery Pack allows for rapid charging as it can dump large amounts of energy faster allowing for more explosive canisters to be used. Featuring a mini catapult launcher on its opposite shoulder, it has enhanced arm units to throw even farther in case the catapult is damaged or non operational.
The backpack pack units are completely optional and do offer some unique weaponry and supportive units however they can't be used when operating Heavier Weapons like the Heavy Gatling Gun, HGG-03 or the Auto Tank Cannon, ATC-04.

History and Variants of the UAS
When you need stronger weapons your create heavy weapons to pack more punch and do more damage, the same is with armor. To make for a more terrifying experience for the enemies of the empire, the HAS are large bulky units which walk across the field of battle spreading death to all around them. Although they make up a few units per squad or are special squads made entirely of HAS units, they are produced more than the specialized HAS units. What makes the HAS unique is how its built atop a KIS with additional pack units to help the flow of battle. The main focus of the empire with the development of the HAS was how to make them as interchangeable and detachable units.
The HAS-01 was the first heavy armor built atop a KIS. It featured a small power supply unit, built in sensors and communication units, and had targeting units. They were the most basic of thrown together units as their armor was more plates welded together and not form made.
The HAS-02 featured upgraded sensors, comms, targeting units, and the canister power source. The armor pieces are made completely separately and then spot welded in place allowing for ease of switching out damaged armor pieces to be repaired in the shop or armor bay. The HAS-02 units are widely used since they offer good systems and good protections while being environmentally sealed under the KIS.
The MHAS-01 was built atop the HAS-02 chassis and featured mostly magical based equipment for reinforcement and enhancement of the soldier inside. Using a small magical converter, the suit was able to take more magic from the outside world and soak it into the skin of the magic casters. This required the soldier to not wear an Under Armor Suit or UAS due to how the suit sends magic to the body. When wearing a UAS the magic power isn't properly absorbed into the suit and instead begins to make the skin feel like its on fire as it is trapped under the UAS, this caused the side effects to become much worse in a quicker amount of time. Not wearing a UAS was the standard practice as it kept the user in a better magical absorption rate and proper dispersion of the magic across the body. This in turn gave magic casters huge amounts of spare magic to use in battle but had a glaring side effect which would make them slowly pilot the suit less and less until they became completely reliant on it. The skin under the suit would become pale powder white, it seemed to always be in a state of magical burns which destroyed the pigments within the skin. Stage one using the powered armor suit gave huge bonuses to magic power and damage letting the caster use the highest levels of magic they know with ease. This made their skin become white and gain more damage making the skin extremely dry and damaged, even the air or sunlight will harm the skin causing intense pain. Stage two became the intense agony as The soldiers had to fully wrap themselves in healing bandages as the gels lessened the pain they received. When stage 3 came, the soldiers were forever trapped in a state of pain and agony as they were either completely forced to stay within their suits permanently or had the opportunity to go into a swarm filled bio pod which had their bodies stored for later use. This was not a good situation in either case due to the suits constant flowing of damaging power and insanity or a bio gel pod which had the soldier woken up and placed in the armor to be used against their enemy in battle under insane levels of pain.The soldiers within the suits slowly became more reliant on their suit to protect their bare exposed skin due to how it slowly damaged it beyond repair, even healing spells were useless in the suit due to how fast it destroys the skin. Many great heroes used these powerful suits across vast areas of space giving into their magically infused madness and crippling burning skin as they spread their insane levels of power across the galactic playground from one battlefield to the next.
The HAS-03 was a full body locked suit built with the HAS-02 frame and plates. This suit was special made and used only by slaves and prisoners of the empire. It slowly injected propaganda and behavior correctional materials into the victim as they became an expendable asset to the empire. The HAS-03 had a block of information on it consisting of various names and codes. It consisted of the victim's name, age, crime, sentence length, occupation, and other needed information. Most users within the HAS-03 were changed people, they were more friendly and kind to their squad mates and acted like demons to the enemies. Using heavy melee weapons they were fast and agile as they dashed around the battlefield cleaving enemies in half. In their rare case of them being released from their armor either deliberately or accidentally they will still be faithfully loyal to the empire and follow orders from the onsite crews. They were a sight to behold as they had destroyed charred skin from the suit pumping them with a special form of magic to brand them over their course inside it. Making them suffer for their crimes in servitude is what makes the evil empire evil. On rare occasions they can be released and given new purpose usually by a Supreme or Magistrate, they will act as powerful bodyguards and powerful mercenaries.
The MHAS-02 was a godsend across the galaxy as it was fully developed. Taking the longest amount of time to perfect, this armor better enhances the user by sending the magic power into the body in a wave like motion at slow intervals. This greatly reduced the insanity developed from long exposure and stopped the permanent damage to the skin. The skin would still remain completely powdery white, dry, and cracked but would only hurt if exposed to direct sunlight. This caused the pilots to wear special UAS suits which were ultra white woven with swarm bio gel as the cloth sits directly on the skin to stop the various rays emitted from most planets. The downside to the UAS was if it was worn under the Magical HAS it began to cause damage like the first variant. Removing the White UAS was standard as the soldier would then get inside the armor with some pain. The side effects weren't completely negated but instead they were greatly reduced allowing for many users to live a comfortable life as soldiers in the empire, their white UAS and White Skin made them recognizable from afar as they empowered respect from all people.
The HAS-04 was the fully developed and widely used HAS unit across the galaxy. It has advanced sensors, comms, power management, built in mini boosters, and impact avoidance and detection. It had the ability to fully heighten the user keeping them in a constant state of their best abilities as it pushed them further. It injects a small amount of swarm biomass as a gel like substance into the body giving them a high boost to the vitamins, minerals, and stats. This made them naturally cycle between alert levels of sleep and rem cycles causing their bodies to adapt to even 30 min of sleep every 4 hours. They will auto pilot in a sleep like state following orders given with no communication until they awake once more. The cycle won't start until the user enters into a prolonged state of fatigue from fighting for entire days on end with no breaks. The HAS uses specialized armor plates with a small magical diversion shield which will divert small arms fire away from the armor as it acts as a flowing magical current generated and maintained by the world around them. The HAS is full customization and offers top of the line protection and weapon use for all races within the galaxy. Although Terran HAS are the most common the other races have large amounts of units on hand and are ordered as needed. The most terrifying thing to come across is not an empire soldier wearing a HAS tearing across the battlefield but a massive hulking demon wearing a HAS on fire with a swing which sends shock waves of flames that burn entire forests.

SAS Description
Specialized Armor Suits are special variations of the heavy armor suits HAS-04 with specific load outs and armor. They vary from recon armor to massive bulky tank like defensive suits and every possible load out in between. They are distinctive due to their specializations and heavier armor than a standard heavy armor suit or HAS. The specialties are interchangeable and can have any needed or mission required equipment however the main ones seen on the battlefield are listed below.
The Boomer Mk. 03 or the EAS-03 is a heavy ordnance explosive launching suit carrying large explosive canisters and launches them great distances using a canister launcher. Using its own power source and can be supplemented by the suits power supply can increase the range further. It has a similar pack style launcher system to throw the canisters even further across the battlefield. Using chemicals and swarm biomass they can fire varying forms of canisters for various effects on the battlefield. They can induce white hot flames, corrosive fluids, liquid nitrogen, electromagnetic pulses from a beacon, and other kinds of effects only limited to the imagination and Swarm biomass on hand. The canisters can be launched up to 3 thousand meters with falloff occurring from a world's gravity, atmosphere, and wind composition as they can hit large targets with precision from the users firing and targeting systems. Firing canisters which undergo small fission reactions to act as small mini nukes which are able to release ¼ to ½ ton payloads at targets from long range is its main specialty, but it supports the front line by acting as a highly mobile anti-siege siege weapon. The modified canisters have an outer layer of the bio gel which can cause further destruction as the innermost cobalt casing releases the reaction. A good combination is corrosive fluids because irradiated corrosive flaming acid is sprayed across the battlefield melting through most armor with ease.
The Guardian Mk 06 or TAS-06 is a heavy guardian unit with a powerful and large shield able to withstand even powerful tank shells. Going through many different iterations over the years, the suit has received various improvements to the amount of armor, protections, resistances, overall sizing and build. It has a large sensor array able to track targets in front of it keeping count of enemies nearby and behind the unit. The unit has heavier tank style angled plates and a defensive shield. It is in the phalanx made by default with its shield raised high using its Heavy AIR-02 rifle. It has a large dual purpose split backpack which stores its own power source. The top half of the backpack houses 100 mini piercing smart heat seeking missiles capable of short to mid ranged barrages. They pack a lot of explosive power as they splash damage around their impact but mostly focuses on larger more heavily armored targets. The bottom of the backpack belt feeds the AIR-02 for non-stop firepower. A newer variant replaces the 2 in 1 backpack and gun for the Gauss powered Gatling Gun GGG-01 and its built in backpack. The Scouter Mk 02 or RAS-02 recon scout armor is super lightweight armor with jet packs and hovering technology. It’s meant to be a recon and stealth unit equipped with a large assortment of sensors and communication devices. It carries different kinds of jamming and disruption technologies to ensure chaos within the enemy. It has its own adaptive camouflaging system bending light around it when not moving and a full stealth mode which can drain the battery heavily. Although it’s built on the KIS frame it uses only combat armor keeping it as lightweight and nimble as possible. The wearers tend to use either an IR-01 or the AIR-01 with small laser based hand pistols as all purpose tools.
The Mythic Mk 04 or MAS-04 magic casting light armor is highly sought after from ally and foe alike. Its systems and design has multiple vent like structures and small rivet like magic absorption nodes across the armor. Enhanced with runic scripts and a built in spell list based off of the elemental affinities of the caster, they use large magic stones lined in tandem to further enhance the spells damage and range. Built with thin plates of TDA plates, the main defensive capabilities are auto stimulant and magical injectors, impact dampeners, and the users own magical shield. The armor takes the users magic and magical abilities into account to transform them into a generalized magic form that the suit can use, no matter the type of magic one may use, the all purpose magic casting suit will keep your magic aligned with your goals and abilities. Their weapons tend to be small hand guns and pistols as well as a magical catalyst of some kind. Many tend to use a large wand or staff as it offers good range and damage in melee combat, however it is unneeded due to the suits built in stones.
The Plasma Shot Frame or PSF-02 nicknamed The Turtle is a highly mobile heavy armored combat suit featuring a huge round shell like power source backpack unit and dual hand mounted PS-02 plasma cannons. The hand cannons have different nozzle caps which can be switched in and out when needed by the user. This causes the cannons to have interesting firing rates, types, and variations for use against any enemies which come your way. This all purpose gun was highly capable in the various conflicts between various empires and kingdoms like the Kranton, Stellos, and Portones as it was fielded in the early combat groups. The cap types and effects were the Focusing or Sniping, Splitting, and Spray Caps. As the guns were used the firing style changed due to the cap associated.

Using the HIR-01 Heavy Impaler Rifle, it is a massive anti-tank sniper rifle. Able to fully use its capabilities and absorb its massive recoil by digging into the ground or by using special leg stabilizing units, this unit can eliminate even the heaviest of armored units in a few shots.
The Explorer Mk 04 or the Space Exploration Unit SEU-04 is the space unit version of the HAS. The SEU-04 is fully sealed, isolating the wearer from the outside environment and protecting them from gas weapons and harsh atmospheres. Featuring life support systems which scrub the expelled gases and waste from the bod to adapt it to the user, this armor is mainly by explorers and other groups of non combatants. The SEU-04 is rated against 6 IR-01 rounds as it is a heavy armored unit but is used for non combat purposes. Originally space armor was used for just survival in space, the suit was built as a HAS unit to survive impacts in space. Used by orbital drop troops, it is standard issued HAS armor with the advantage of being able to survive in space and take some punishments. Misconceptions rise when people think they are all powerful super units that come from orbit yet they are just regular HAS suits with additional systems in place for survival in places you would never expect to be in. The advantages of the armor lies within its ceramic plating and coatings applied which greatly reduce all forms of radiation and atmospheric conditions.

History and Variants of the SAS
Many of the Special Armor Suits or SAS have their documented changes and adaptations they have undergone throughout their developments. Although these armors were designed to be on top of the perfected HAS-04 armor system, many changes were made to the newer armor as better iterations were developed.
The Boomer Mk. 01 or the EAS-01 is a heavy ordnance explosive launching suit which had 20 large canisters and advanced arm throwing technologies.
The Boomer Mk. 02 or the EAS-02 was an upgraded unit with better launching capabilities. The launching catapault was added to further the units range in battle.
The Boomer Mk. 03 or the EAS-03 used a new canister and launching system which had smaller canisters which packed the same punch allowing for more storage and ammo to be used in battle. They are able to modify and change their compositions allowing the canisters to have different explosive properties and effects in battle.
The Guardian Mk 01 or TAS-01 was a needed unit on the battlefield. Needing something to take more hits and survive ambushes with anti-tank weapons, the TAS-01 was made. Slow and Bulky with a huge assortment of heavy ship plating, it was just not feasible to employ such a slow walking wall which couldn't fight well.
The Guardian Mk 02 or TAS-02 had reduced amounts of ship plating which made it faster but the main issue still remained.
The Guardian Mk 03 or TAS-03 had its armor changed to heavy tank armor making it slightly lighter and faster in combat allowing it to be an effective unit. Still to slow and bulky to keep up with other HAS units, changes were needed.
The Guardian Mk 04 or TAS-04 had its over all armor reduced to make it lighter and faster while keeping around the same level of protections.
The Guardian Mk 05 or TAS-05 was a durable unit built atop the TAS-04 frame. It had a massive shield which was made from ship plate armor pieces as it was fused down the center onto a shield frame. This allowed it to move across the battlefield taking hits for others. The downside was the shield would split when hit in the center from tank or plasma weapons. The expensive cost and inability to fix the shield once broken had to be reworked.
The Guardian Mk 06 or TAS-06 was the finalized and completed version. It featured better impact dampeners as well as its shield being made from a large single thick plate of tank armor. As it is heat molded and ceramic coated, it holds its shape through any terrain and reduces deformation from heavy hits. It can be repaired in the field using extra tank armor pieces and patches making it almost as durable.

The Scouter Mk 02 or RAS-02 recon scout armor is equipped with jet packs and hovering technology. It’s a recon stealth unit equipped with a large assortment of sensors and communication devices as well as jamming and disruption technologies to ensure chaos within the enemy. It has a better adaptive camouflaging system allowing it to stay camouflaged even while attacking and not moving. It also has a full stealth mode which can drain the battery heavily but allow the user to flee or change position becoming invisible to almost all sensors for a short time.
The Mythic Mk 01 or MAS-01 magic casting light armor is highly sought after from ally and foe alike. It was a large bulky slow unit that was heavily armored with ship plating to keep the caster safe as they used powerful spells. It had a massive backpack unit which acted as a magical converter unit to generate magic power for the suit to use.
The Mythic Mk 02 or MAS-02 had its armor changed to tank armor being less bulky and faster. This allowed the user to get out of combat faster and stay alive. The large backpack unit's magic device was made to be smaller and more effective as a shield was added to block shots. After long term use the shield unit ended up taking all of the magic of the backpack unit making for no real gain.
The Mythic Mk 03 or MAS-03 had its backpack unit completely changed. The shield was built into the armor directly to mimic how normal shields work and the generation unit was spread across the armor at the joints as large spikes which can act as their own mini energy system linked together. The annoying part was the armor worked so well people forgot about the spikes and hit them on everything.
The Mythic Mk 04 or MAS-04 didn't have much to improve from the MAS-03. The main feature was the removal of spikes and large gemstones embedded in the armor to function the same with less material jutting out. Many users will personalize their suits with runic scripts allowing for special magic to be passed down from one to another.

The Explorer Mk 04 or the Space Exploration Unit SEU-04 was an improved upgraded needed more than people think. The only change was a small energy barrier unit that wrapped the body in a thin layer of energy which deflected and collected small amounts of razor sharp space dust and metals. It would release them from storage in little bursts.
