Description
The Guardian Mk 06 or TAS-06 is a heavy guardian unit with a powerful and large shield able to withstand even powerful tank shells. Going through many different iterations over the years, the suit has received various improvements to the amount of armor, protections, resistances, overall sizing and build. It has a large sensor array able to track targets in front of it keeping count of enemies nearby and behind the unit. The unit has heavier tank style angled plates and a defensive shield. It is in the phalanx made by default with its shield raised high using its Heavy AIR-02 rifle. It has a large dual purpose split backpack which stores its own power source. The top half of the backpack houses 100 mini piercing smart heat seeking missiles capable of short to mid-ranged barrages. They pack a lot of explosive power as they splash damage around their impact but mostly focus on larger, more heavily armored targets. The bottom of the backpack belt feeds the AIR-02 for non-stop firepower. A newer variant replaces the 2 in 1 backpack and gun for the Gauss powered Gatling Gun GGG-01 and its built-in backpack. The GGG-01 is a Gauss powered Gatling Gun which can penetrate even the strongest of armor plating.

TAS-01 or Guardian MK. 01
A heavily armored HAS unit with a small shield. It didn’t provide the required protection and shielding a heavy unit should.
TAS-02 or Guardian MK. 02
The TAS-02 changed the battlefield as they were also equipped with a powerful shield generator. Due to the massive energy requirements it would not move while the shield was up. As it is a stationary defensive unit it was prone to bombardments.
TAS-03 or Guardian MK. 03
The major changes from the TAS-02 to the TAS-03 was a large energy pack and better movement systems. It was the main go to for many centuries until something stronger was needed.
TAS-04 or Guardian MK. 04
Equipping the TAS-03 with heavier plated armor, the new unit became a slow moving but highly capable unit in battle. Equipping it with a massive Gatling gun allowed it to be useful in battle but once it was out of rounds it still acted as a mobile shield generating unit. Within its large bubble shield it became a sitting duck and couldn’t properly defend itself from heavy weapons.
TAS-05 or Guardian MK. 05
This unit was the cumulative experiences built into what makes a guardian. Looking for guidance the military turned to adventurers. They would use a massive shield and magic attacks to hold the enemies attention allowing for more allies to freely do what they do. They added a large thick armored shield and a mounted turret to the top of the unit. They gave it larger armor plates and better power sources making it something the enemy wants to bring down fast but it can defend itself.
TAS-06 or Guardian MK. 06 is the final variant.
It is a large bulky thick legged defensive wall which has a massive shield generator and has a large thick shield which it holds to block shots. It is armed with a Gatling gun built into the other arm allowing it to spin and fire heavy AP rounds. On top it has a large dome which has a mounted heavy Gatling laser gun allowing for additional soldiers to ride atop it. It’s built more like a walker as it takes up massive amounts of space. It has small flaps which stick out of the sides of the legs which can provide cover as it slowly lumbers forwards.
