Description
The dwarves are said to be a group of ancient warriors who value honor and tradition over all other things. Everything they do they do for the Dwarven people, in service to the Astarian Empire they are an honest and hard working race who will do anything they can to further their cause and the favor of their people. Although there are 3 groups of Dwarve people, they generally see each other as distant relatives and work with each other for the same cause.
Species And Faction
Species:
There are 3 major species of Dwarves that have been discovered and exist within The Astarian Empire.
Dvergr / Dwerv, Dwarve, Dwarv
Factions:
Dvergr / Dwerv: The Dvergr or Dwerv is a race of short, stocky, and bulky combat focused warriors that are hunchbacked. They have close beady eyes and long stretched arms with small claws, they wear robes to cover their carapaced hunchback as they skitter about their cave home network using tools and developing long facial hair to sense and detect faint presences around them. They are sensitive to the light and will live their lives secluded in their mountain homes harvesting resources and forging equipment. They use mind altering manipulation magics to hide their appearance behind a short bearded stocky person with a gleeful appearance wearing silky blacksmithing attire.
Dwarve: Are a racial mutation created from the cross breeding of both Humans and Orcs. In most cases the offspring would be called a Half Orc but through further study these people have changed on a genetic level. They are the size of Humans with the bulk and muscle mass of the Orc, where even their children are massive in size when compared to a regular human newborn. The Human characteristics have allowed for the Dwarve to have some Human traits which have some Orc genetics. The Dwarve has a Human skin tone and complexion with the color being darkened when compared to the Orc gene. The Dwarve develops the same level of facial hair as a Human with the Orc thickness.
Dwarv: As the Dwarve people began to spread out far and wide on the various worlds, the Dwarves underwent a drastic change due to some force. They begin to become shorter and more stocky, their hair grows much faster and their bodies can have a thin layer of hair or even develop short fur. Their normal and facial hair grows far longer and much faster as does the rest of the hair on their bodies, this effect also affects their nails, sometimes elongating them while other times thickening them turning them into tools to dig.
Culture
All forms of Dwarves seem to follow strict traditions and celebrate the rich culture in their survival against all odds. This has allowed them to mimic the traits of Orcs and Humans and engage in combat sports and drinking games in a merriment unlike most other races.
Astarian Empire's Thoughts
The Dvergr / Dwerv people make the finest smiths across the Astarian Empire, they work mostly on adventurer equipment and the Supreme’s Weapons and Armor due to their legendary skills in the craft.
The Dwarve people are tall Dwarves who are skilled in all manners of combat and crafts.
The Dwarv people are Dwarve people that have a mutation causing them to be shorter and still just as effective and skilled as their taller Dwarve counterparts.
After The Cataclysmic Shift
After the Great Cataclysmic Shift the smaller sized Dwarv population exploded and they spread out across the galaxy much faster.

Playing Dwarves In TTRPG and or RPG Games:
In Role Playing Games, Dwarves are seen in their smaller appearance. They are honest, drunken, and combat focused people. They tend to pick up various crafts like craftsmanship, smithing, and jewelry smith becoming masters at their crafts or they become a drunken warrior.
Playing Dwarves In Turn Based Strategy and or RTS Games:
In strategy games Dwarves are seen in their smaller appearance. They are heavily armored combat units who excel in both melee and ranged combat. Although their magic is more of a personal buff and support, they can use some to support their allies.
