After her service under the command of Major Astar, Captain Tachibana, like the others, was offered to stay and rewarded. She chose to be a captain of a star ship as her nights with Astar were always spent looking at the stars and talking of space since that was her happy place. She was sent through officer training school and a crash naval course before being given a ship and crew. Many of the crew were highly experienced individuals who did not like Tachibana due to her lack of training and experience. After years of little talking and only following orders they get invaded by pirates. As the ship is locked down and the crew is taken hostage Tachibana dawns the large anti tank sniper rifle she has in room which she frequently cleans and makes easy work of the pirates and capture their ship. Even greatly injured in the line of duty she just cauterizes the wound and continues to the bridge. She is very stern, cold, and serious at all times. When the crew begins to talk to her after new crew come aboard they learn of who she is and where she is from. Many times a supreme will visit and talk to her and she always comes alive, eventually they respect her and after many years she becomes an admiral, then a high admiral, a fleet admiral, and her final position is Supreme Admiral as she oversees the rest of the military fleet for Yumi.
