Spell Research And History:

What is the Blink Spell and why is it deadly? The Blink Spell is made of Arcane power which flows into the caster allowing them to teleport a short distance, dodge attacks, dodge obstacles, or even reach higher places. Using the Blink Spell will allow you to move quickly as some users can cast a multitude of the spells to travel a far distance quickly. Unfortunately the Blink Spell is caster only and can’t be used with another person as their magical energies will stop the spell by interrupting it. You can use the Blink Spell to take an object you can easily carry as you blink. This allows you to keep your gear and equipment even when you blink due to them being anchored to your person as you blink.

Using the Blink Spell when falling does not stop the gravitational pull and instead just pauses it as they enter the blink state, when they exit the blink state they resume their fall at the same speed. This has caused many inexperienced magic casters to become injured as they blink forward thinking they can reduce their fall and then they hit the ground with now broken legs.

The Blink Spell is a very useful short range closing the distance spell that makes for good surprise attacks when used efficiently. Magic power allows you to keep with the flow of the world so when you Blink you are anchored in the magic and world, you will hit the location where you believe yourself to land without fail if it is within range.

Spell Damage:
