

Breath Spells And You
What is a Breath Spell and why is it still used in combat? The way of life, the power of the throat, the breath of power, a Breath Spell builds, controls, and harnesses the raw elemental powers in the throat. The head pulls back then pushes forwards unleashing a Breath Spell, a power which spews straight elemental damage and elemental effects to all targets in front of the caster. It hits in a cone radius as it the head rocks back and forth and rotates to spread the breath in the entire area. The longer the caster can hold their breath to charge the spell the more powerful it is, as they are spewing the Breath Spell, they breath slowly and deeply through their nose or other means to keep the flow of breath as constant and steady as possible. Although it is mainly a Mob Spell and used by powerful beasts, magic casters can use this spell effectively for many different purposes and reasons. The larger the caster the more powerful the spell and the longer it can last. As the size of the caster increases the cone of attack will widen and lengthen to maximize all damage.

Berserking Breath: Condensing Arcane magics into a small focused point within the throat allows for the spell to become very powerful in a short amount of time. It hits all targets in a cone in front of the caster regardless of if they are friend or foe which causes them to enter into a Berserk state. The Berserk state increases their damage by 50% but they are only able to basic attack until the Berserk effect is removed or the battle ends. It has a moderate chance to inflict the Berserk effect as it deals moderate Arcane damage to the target.

Blinding Breath: Condensing Dark magics into a small focused point within the throat allows for the spell to become very powerful in a short amount of time. It hits all targets in a cone in front of the caster regardless of if they are friend or foe, it causes them to be unable to see well and reduces their sight based abilities. It has a moderate chance to inflict the Darkness effect as it deals moderate Dark damage to the target. [Dark] [Offensive] [AoE]
Paralyzing Breath: Condensing Lightning magics into a small focused point within the throat allows for the spell to become very powerful in a short amount of time.
