Bombs, Traps, and Strikes. It Never Ends

The advanced spell group which has some of the absolute strongest or most used spells within. These spells may be in a usage or power level which are standard in the Empire while other worlds see these spells as the be all end all spells.

Mist Spells are not as powerful or as advanced as the others spells, however they are one of the highest used spells due to their versatility. 

Trap Spells are spells which as the name suggests are placed as traps and can cause damage to enemies caught in the trap.

Bomb Spells spells which have explosive bombs inside and deal good clustering AoE damage to all targets in the blast.

Strike Spell: The absolute pinnacle of all combat spells  within the power system called magic. It may not be flashy or instant world ending like many other spells but the sheer amount of damage and destructive power within the spell will cause havoc unlike anything else. Powerful magic casters have met their end because a small mage casted a single spell and ended the entire city in a single spell.

Mist Spells And You

What is the Mist Spell and how is it used for trap production? The Mist Spell is a unique spell which creates a cloud, fog, mist, or some other dense airborne product. The naming convention is not a way to describe how it operates or the effect it has, it instead the name is what the outcome is.

A Fire Mist Spell as a casted spell or a trap is a dense mist of high flammable mist which explodes in a large fiery explosion. Once a source of flame is introduced to the Fire Mist the explosion commences.

The Water Mist Spell is a large cloud of water which makes everything extremely wet as it permeates deep into clothing and porous materials like wood. It is usually paired with a Lightning Charge to cause extreme electrical and lightning damage.

Each version of the spell has a few options to help it cause more destructive damage. Due to the nature of the neutral magical energy trapped inside, a smart caster can use a variety of different magical effects on different clouds to further the destructive capabilities of the cloud. The clouds can be trapped within different materials like jars and pots used to set off various kinds of traps. As the magical power and effects are changeable the Empire has also been observing various beneficial spells being used to buff and boost allies of the casters. However during great battles it has been observed that a change of wind can push the beneficial clouds of empowerment into the enemy.

Spell Construction: Element - Mist Spell

 

Arcane Mist: Thick Arcane Mist is filled in a large 3 cubic meter space, it will hover and disperse outwards. It is thick and dense as it greatly reduces physical sight inside and when looking through it. [Arcane] [Support] [AoE] 

 

Cloud Of Darkness: A Cloud Of Darkness fills a 5 cubic meter space which it will quickly disperses in the area filling the entire space while spreading outwards, it will completely disappear in a few moments but is highly effective at spreading status ailments. It is a thick sight blocking black cloud that has a high chance to inflict the Darkness, Blind, Silenced and Weakening effect as it deals moderate Dark damage to all targets. [Dark] [Support] [AoE]

Cloud Of Berserking Haste: A lingering 2 cubic meter cloud of red blood mist fills the area. It inflicts the target with the Berserking, Haste, Confusion, and Doom. This makes all targets in the lingering cloud enter into a frenzy and engage anything and everything in battle. [Arcane] [Support] [AoE] 

 

Cloud Of Bleeding: A Cloud Of Arcane magic is released into a 1 cubic meter space which it will linger for a short time. It will greatly damage and cause all targets to bleed inside the cloud as it is highly effective at spreading death amongst the ranks. It is a thin reddish and blue see-through cloud that has a high chance to inflict the Bleeding effect as it deals high Arcane damage to all targets. [Arcane] [Support] [AoE]

 

Cloud Of Petrifying Frost: A thick cloud of water is released in a 3 cubic meter space which permeates deep into fabrics and coats the skin in a constant wet mist. After a few moments the water will settle and soak the area, then the cold settles in. Either by a cold spell or trap, intense cold will hit the area and begin to slow the targets greatly. Frost will begin to creep along the skin and Freeze slowly causing the body to stop and enter into a hibernating phase. The longer the target is within the frosty area, the more solid they become until they are able to become shattered. The target will remain Frozen for a few days until either the spell is removed, dispelled, or canceled. [Ice] [Support] [AoE]

 

Cloud Of Poison: A Cloud Of Poison fills a 3 cubic meter space which it will quickly disperses in the area filling the entire space while spreading outwards, it will completely disappear in a few moments but is highly effective at spreading illness amongst the ranks. It is a thin greenish see-through cloud that has a high chance to inflict the Poison effect as it deals moderate Nature damage to all targets. [Nature] [Support] [AoE]

 

Cloud Of Weakening: A Cloud Of Arcane magic is released into a 5 cubic meter space which it will linger for a long time. It will weaken all targets inside the cloud as it is highly effective at spreading weakness amongst the ranks. It is a thin grey see-through cloud that has a high chance to inflict the Weakening effect as it deals moderate Arcane damage to all targets. [Arcane] [Support] [AoE]

 

Fire Mist: Thin flammable Fire Mist is filled in a large 1 cubic meter space which it will quickly disperse filling the entire space while spreading outwards. It is a thin see-through mist which is highly flammable and will soak into fabrics and other porous material. When the mist is released there is a small delay on the trap or cast before a flame ignites the mist engulfing the area in a fiery explosion. It has a high chance to inflict the Burn and Weakening effect as it deals moderate Fire damage to all targets. [Fire] [Support] [AoE]

 

Fog Of Weakening Slow: A thick lingering 5 cubic meter fog fills the area causing all targets within the fog as it has a high chance to inflict the Weakening and Slow effect as it deals moderate Arcane damage to all targets. [Arcane] [Support] [AoE]

 

Holy Fog: A 3 cubic meter cube of fog made of small particles of bright light, the fog lingers in the area creating a healing and restoring zone for allies to take shelter. It will inflict the allied targets with Heal and Health Regeneration. It can be used to remove other Mist Type Spells and corruption in a large area. [Light / Holy] [Support] [AoE]

 

Storm Of Earth: A large swirling storm of dust and sand 5 cubic meters wide that fills the area creating a Storm Of Earth to block vision and change the climate in an area. As the storm is released wind magics will also activate to blow the sand around violently. Used in huge open spaces to make pop up storms, it requires vast amounts of magical power but can be used to completely change the area and inflict status effects. It has a high chance to inflict the Slow, Blind, and Uncomfortable effect as it deals moderate Earth damage to all targets. [Earth] [Support] [AoE]

 

Water / Lightning Mist: Thick Water Mist is filled in a large 3 meter cubic space which it will slowly spread outwards as the air carries it. It is a mostly thin see-through fog which will soak into fabrics and other porous material. When the mist is released there is a small delay on the trap or cast before a current of Lightning shocks the mist electrifying it. It has a high chance to inflict the Paralysis, Shock, and Stun effect as it deals moderate Lightning damage to all targets. [Water / Lightning] [Support] [AoE]

 

Trap Spells And You

What is a Trap Spell and how is it used? The Trap Spell or Snare Trap Spell is observed to be a near invisible Nova Spell which detonates when a target enters the area of the Trap Spell, it will detonate at the center hitting the target that is in range. Due to how powerful the Trap Spell is, its main weakness is the fact it can’t be moved once placed and it can be seen with special or magical sight as well as it will disappear after half a day or so as it runs out of magic. Since the Trap Spell is something created with magic, it can be modified by adding extra effects to it. A master Trap Spell caster will create traps which will only detonate when a target is directly in the middle of the trap to maximize the damage and hit more targets as well as adjusting the trap to slowly pull magic in so it will stay until detonated. Special users in the Empire have the position of Trap Engineers, as they make new traps with various effects, and link traps together in series so they have even more potential. The good twin trap is a high density low damaging water explosion which makes all the targets wet inside its range, after a few seconds the second trap goes off releasing lightning and shocking the wet targets. Most of the time the water trap is placed so it is seen, when someone detects all the traps in the area they will just walk through the water trap as magic power is needed to stop the other traps like a fire or inferno trap or a suffocating sand trap. The motto of Trap Engineers is to “Get them with the surprise bag of sand attack!”.

The Berserk state increases their damage by 50% but they are only able to basic attack until the Berserk effect is removed or the battle ends. Spell Bomb Traps

What is the Spell Bomb and the Spell Bomb Trap? This spell is an advanced Ball Spell built containing multiple smaller Ball Spells under intense pressure which deal a clustering Area of Effect damage. An element based clustering bomb spell was observed to explode into smaller elemental bombs of the same type and it can be placed in the form of a trap so this is a favored spell of the Empire and its magic casters. Although mainly it is built and thrown into hordes of enemies for devastating effects as a crowd controlling weapon, it does make for a good static trap which will throw small bombs in a huge area. The Spell Bomb is a huge Ball Spell which explodes releasing many smaller Ball Spells into the area which also detonate dealing damage multiple times to all targets caught within each ball's blast range. The main source of damage comes from the smaller exploding balls as when the larger ball spell explodes the force pushes the enemy outwards towards the smaller ball spells.

Strike Spells And You

What is the Spell Strike Spell? This is one of the highest constructed combat spells the Empire has discovered and researched thus far. Due to the nature of the multiple spells casted at once, a high ranking spell caster is the one to use this effectively. Although imitations or lack of power and experience can produce a similar result, the true Strike Spell is something to be truly feared. Powerful mages can make the two spells of different elements to cause even more havoc. In essence this is a compounded spell which uses a Nova Spell Ball Spell and a Trap Spell. The Nova Ball Spell hits 2 times itself as the Ball Spell explodes releasing the Nova Spell inside. This will set off the Trap Spell which also explodes with either the same effects or different effects. As this is a combination of 2 spells, the effect list contains 2 different parts in one single list.
