

Neutral Spells
Neutral Spells are not like how their name describes or the elements used in their creation. The Empire has classified all of these spells as Neutral Spells due to their usage across the board. There is no main type of people monster or creature which uses these spells more often than others. As all magic casters or those with magical power can use these magic spells and they are used and loved by all whom use them.

Detect Spell And You
What is the Detect Spell and how is it used? The Detect Spell is an interesting study within the Empire as it is a very useful spell which has even more useful variations built on top of each other. While the fundamentals of the spell remain the same, the usage of the spell is what changes drastically. In essence the spell uses a release of Arcane magic in a small condensed wave outwards from the caster. This allows the senses to perform a mental trace of the room or area around the caster, the more magic energy used in the spell the more area is mentally traced. Using an Arcane projection tool or raw magical power can show the traced image to allies. This is used to record maps, layout, and the flow of the location. The Detect Spell and its variants are so overused that unless an adventurer travels to a new world people don’t even place anything within magical traps or hidden compartments. Since anything can be stolen and the majority of people have magical power in the Empire, the greatest most secretive place to hide things is in the form of a plain box. People can’t sense what is inside unless the item is magically imbued, so things like money will stay hidden from magical thieves.
The Detect Spell will highlight anything in range that contains magic or the essence of magic power. Residual magic power can be detected but will only show a faint glow. This is used in many different ways like mapping out and exploring a dungeon, finding traps and treasure, finding people or entities, detecting hidden objects, or even detecting a person's power level.

Spell Construction: Arcane - Detect Spell - Variation Detect Spell
Detect Spell: A Wave of magic power rushes around the caster allowing them to make a mental note of the area. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Detect Magic Spell: A slow moving Wave of magic power slowly pushes around the caster highlighting all magical things nearby in a blueish magical glow. This will pick up any objects that currently have or are made up of at least 65% magical energy. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Detect Trap Spell: A rapid burst of Waves of magic power which pings all nearby traps by highlighting them in a reddish magical glow. This will pick up any objects that currently have or are made up of at least 65% magical energy. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Detect People Spell: A rapid Wave of magic power which pings all nearby magically gifted people by highlighting them in a whiteish magical glow. This spell can’t determine the level of power but can show who has magic. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Detect Entities Spell: A slow moving Wave of magic power highlights any and all entities like ghosts and spirits and makes them seen to all of those around. This spell is also used to detect and allow others to see invisible, cloaked, camouflaged, or hidden spell users. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Detect Magic Power Spell: This is a magical sense type of spell which allows the caster to somewhat detect the magic power of a target. It can detect the base level of the magic power within the target if they are weaker than the caster, or possibly up to 10x stronger than the caster. This can sense if the target is far stronger than the caster. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Detect Power Spell: This is an energy sense type of spell which allows the caster to somewhat detect the raw energy of a target. It can detect the base level of the energy as it can see the flow of power. This spell is used mainly for construction for magical golems, power sources, and other non-magical means. Few can use this spell as it has no real combat purposes, it is useful in following power and seeing the flow of power. Can be linked with the Detect Magical Power Spell to see the flow of magic. Drain Spell And You
What is the Drain Spell? The Drain Spell essentially is a spell which links 2 people, mostly the caster and a target, and some form of power is channeled from one to another. The channeling lasts until either the spell is interrupted, canceled, disabled, or if the targets are out of range.
Most of the time the caster will link a powerful magic caster with a strong warrior with excess mana so they can keep casting spells. The link can be one way or both ways to split the pool of energy between the targets. The longer the channel spell is linked to the targets, the more energy it takes, this can cause intense mental and physical damage to the targets. The Drain Spell comes in multiple variations.
The first most common is the health draining variant or the Drain Health Spell. Like the name implies, this spell drains the health points and vitality of a target and channels it to another target. As the linked target of the spell becomes weaker, they will stop regenerating health as well as have reduced Strength STR and Vitality VIT.
The second most common variation is the mana point variant or the Drain Mana Spell, as the name implies, this spell drains mana or magical energy from a target and channels it to another target. As the linked target of the spell becomes weaker, they will stop mana points as well as have reduced Magic MAG and Endurance END.
The third most common variation is the stamina point variant or the Drain Stamina Spell, as the name implies, this spell drains stamina or the body’s energy reserve from a target and channels it to another target. As the linked target of the spell becomes weaker, they will stop regenerating energy or stamina as well as have reduced Constitution CON and Endurance END.
The fourth most common variation is the power variant or the Drain Power Spell, as the name implies, this spell drains all forms of power from a target and channels it to another target. As the linked target of the spell becomes weaker, they will have reduced Physical and Magical Power.
The fifth most common variation is the standard weakening variant or just the Drain Spell. This spell inflicts Slow, Darkness, Weakening, and Silence on the target.

Pain Spell And You
Pain and the Pain Spell, what is it really? The Pain Spell is misunderstood as many think of it as just a mental attack on the target. It is a mental attack which will inflict the desired damage in the area which the caster wishes which most know to be true and a great form of torture. This spell however is a psychic attack which will damage the psyche of the person reducing their mental capacity and capabilities. As it destroys the mind in many facets, the target becomes greatly susceptible to control and charm type spells as they take multiple hits and are inflicted with this type of damage. All damage received from attacks with the Pain Spell amplifies the damage they received to a greater degree of mental damage.

Pain Spell: A mental and physical damaging spell which hurts the target slowly over long periods of time to inflict various kinds of pain. Used mainly in interrogation and torture, demons love this spell when used on humans, the pain causes them to thrash about and scream in agony. [Dark] [Offensive] [Single Target]
Mana Burn Spell
What is the Mana Burn Spell? The Mana Burn Spell is a spell which burns the magical energy within a target's body. Although it doesn’t burn a lot of magical energy, it can change the course of battle by limiting the magical energy in the target. The Mana Burn Spell is a spell which releases a huge Arcane torrent of power that rips through a target destroying some of the magical energy they have inside their body. This also slows down magic regeneration and lowers the maximum magical energy and the maximum magical power slightly. The longer the spell is charged the more magical energy is burned from the target. Experienced casters can burn % of magic energy to further decrease the target's magical power. This spell has been modified and adjusted to also affect the raw energy and power within the body thus a new spell was born. Energy Burn. It functions the exact same but will instead target Stamina and Energy in the body leaving the mana or magical power unchanged. Few casters can do both of these at the same time but the hybrid spell Power Burn was created to do just that.

Mana Burn: A torrent of Arcane magic destroys a % of magic energy within the target. This also decreases the magic energy regeneration, maximum magic energy amount, and mana points within the target. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Energy Burn: A torrent of Arcane magic destroys a % of natural energy within the target. This also decreases the natural energy regeneration, maximum energy levels, and the stamina within the target. [Arcane] [Support] [Single Target]
Power Burn: A huge powerful torrent of Arcane magic destroys a % of natural and magical energy within the target. This also decreases the magic energy regeneration, maximum magic energy amount, mana points, natural energy regeneration, maximum energy levels, and the stamina within the target. Surge Spell And You
What is the Surge Spell? The Surge Spell is a small blast of condensed Lightning released at the casters feet. It inflicts Slow and greatly damages Summoned entities as the magic connection is broken temporarily. The longer the spell is charged the more targets it can hit as the Area of Effect around the caster increases. It has a low chance to inflict the Shock, Stun, and Slow as it deals low Lightning damage to all affected targets.

Surge: A small ball of condensed Lightning is thrown at the ground and explodes in a small Area of Effect. It has a low chance to inflict the Shock, Stun, and Slow as it deals low Lightning damage to all affected targets. [Lightning] [Offensive] [Single Target]
Purge Spell And You
What is the Purge Spell? The Purge Spell is built on top of the Surge Spell as it is a very good slow type spell. Like the Surge Spell, the Purge Spell is a small blast of condensed Lightning that instead of being released at the casters feet it is thrown at an enemy. It inflicts Slow and greatly damages Summoned entities as the magic connection is broken temporarily. The longer the spell is charged the more targets it can hit as the Area of Effect increases. It has a moderate chance to inflict the Shock, Stun, and Slow as it deals moderate Lightning damage to all affected targets.

Purge: A large blast of condensed Lightning is imbued with Holy power as it is thrown at a nearby target. It has a moderate chance to inflict the Shock, Stun, and Slow as it deals moderate Lightning damage to all affected targets and more damage to any summoned creature or entity.
