

Puppet Spells & Those Who Control Them
These are spells which allow the user to control either man made “puppets” or people with some difficulty and resistances. Like the possession type spells, these allow more advanced maneuvers due to how both parties cooperate with the spell. Puppeteers or those who control Puppets are able to use stings of magic power which flows from their fingers into the joints of a puppet. The stronger the caster the fewer strings are needed, however puppets are simple constructs and follow no real orders or directions. This has led two 2 main studies when entire schools of magic have been erected to study these puppets and their masters.

The School Of Intelligent Puppets: This is the study of puppets that are normal everyday persons that are under a spell of control. This allows them to live their lives almost completely normal albeit they are usually near their masters. This can include pets which can be puppets and is only classified as such if they meet certain requirements. A powerful Dragon may be a puppet if it is completely reliant on a master to use their magic AND would not exist if the master doesn't supply the magic they need for long periods of time. This is different from spells or skills which bind a creature to a caster or allows the caster to channel magic into a target. Therefore this is a heavily studied branch of spells.

The School Of Construct Puppets: The majority of puppet users fall under this school of puppeteering. This schooling of puppets uses the standard condensed magic power made into a string which attaches to the joints of the puppet. Many people prefer to use these wooden style puppets due to their versatility in and out of combat.
Puppets: Puppets come in many different sizes and shapes with the most common being large person sized wooden dolls with some built in arm weapons. They are highly mobile and able to use various arm blade weapons to both block and deal damage. The combat effectiveness, armaments used, hidden weapons, magic spells, and control are how puppets are classified.

Beginner Class: The standard combative puppet. Armed with various weapons and made to resemble various other soldiers. Although they are wooden dolls they can use clothing and act as troops. They are good in mass numbers and are able to best the standard well trained soldier within a nation's army.

Scouting Class: Sometimes seen as a captain amongst various Beginner Class puppets, these puppets excel at stealth, espionage, and infiltration. They are made to be more light weight, agile, and slim to allow for them to slip in and out of places. These puppets are just as good in combat as the Beginner Class puppets with the fact they can easily evade attacks and hide from people. They require much more magic power to operate than a Beginner Class puppet but its combat stats are way better. For every 5 Beginner Class Puppets, a single Scouting Class Puppet will beat them in combat and is worth leading them in operations.

Combat Class: The strongest of all the Puppets, they have the best armor and weapons made from the strongest of materials. Each one is able to best a weakened hero in combat and weakened legendary creatures on their own with the casters magic boosting them giving them the power they need to best even the absolute strongest of warriors and heroes. This puppet tends to work in pairs to fully destroy their targets while requiring an absurd amount of magical power. Few Puppet Masters are able to use multiple Combat Class Puppets, but some of the strongest adventurers will have at least 2 by their Puppet Masters side to completely blindside all their enemies.

Puppeteers And You
What is the Puppeteer Spell? The Puppeteer Spell is more like a title than anything. It allows for the control and mastery of the puppet the caster is controlling. Although it offers no real effects or bonuses, it does allow the magic within the Puppeteer’s body to grow and develop into a master. The more they use their Puppet Magic the stronger and more condensed their threads become. After some time they can begin to ascend into Mastery over Puppet Magic. Once their skills and abilities with their magic grows, they can become a Puppet Master.
Many non-Empire puppet users will use condensed puppet strings in a semi-effect way, however this is extremely inefficient as the puppets can only perform the most basic of actions and requires the caster’s input. In this way the puppet is usually flung towards a target then the caster focuses magic in a split second to control that specific puppet, using overwhelming numbers is what tends to win the fight. This methodology is what the Empire deems as lazy and not true puppet magic mastery. A huge amount of puppets which can’t perform multiple actions will always fail to a Puppet Master that can effectively use their few but powerful puppets.
Puppet Masters are fully able to control not only just golems, but also Military units like the Empire Battle Mechs. Most of the time a Puppet Master will ride a Mech into battle as the Mech will have the magic caster control it and it will save its battery for a later use. It will still use their weapons and shields but not wasting any energy on movement allows for them to have a much longer operation time. Golems are the best option to use as they are created from materials and or magic and can be much easier to control, Mechs offer better combat power but are harder to control. In both cases the larger the size the more magic it takes to operate, using unique or different modifications like a floating device or wings will require a lot more magic energy and power to use. Powerful Puppet Masters will ride large Mechs into battle while also sending out entire strike forces of puppet soldiers to engage enemies. Many times the Puppet Master may be in a powered magic enhancing battle suit to protect and enhance themselves in battle. The average strength of Puppet Masters registered within the Empire are able to control 2 Titan Class Mechs or 10 Combat Class Puppets at one time. Puppet Masters are unique in the fact they can bring entire armies with them anywhere they go, being linked by magic when the Puppet Master is under a mind influencing or altering spell their connection to the puppets is interrupted and lost. They then become extremely combat weakened and this helps prevent allies from getting injured.
Puppet Masters within the Empire are highly skilled combatants that use many different puppet types to do combat. As a Puppet Master becomes very powerful their strings compress from their hands and flow into 1 string called a Master String. This allows them to fully control the attached puppet as if they had every string attached to joints. Within the Empire they regard Puppet Masters as someone who is experienced enough to use at least 3 Master Strings at one time, this means they can have at least 3 puppets do extremely efficient actions and movements in a series of tests.
Within the Empire, the most notable Puppet Master that has full control of all puppets is Supreme Magistrate Lunafreya Stonewall. At a young age she began to use puppet magic to control small wooden dolls, now she controls entire titans as she rides atop them into battle. Her titans are fully standard but she can use them by controlling them with her raw magic power saving their power supplies for a longer battle. Her powers allow her to control the entirety of a puppet with a single puppet string and her record is 1000 titans under her control of various heights.

Puppet Control Spell
What is the Puppet Control Spell? The Puppet Control Spell allows the target of the spell to be completely linked with the controller or caster of the spell. They feed the puppet their magic power and energy allowing the puppet to fully use all of the weapons at its disposal. Although the spell is Arcane in nature, the Empire has seen this spell change its element to match the puppet with no penalty to the caster. There are no real details on this spell other than it is an innate spell which all puppetmasters have and allows for better control of their puppets. The spell seems to work like a skill as the more and better it is used the more bonuses it seems to give. Higher control and mastery over the Puppet Control Spell means less mana drain and usage.

What is the Puppet Empower Spell? The Puppet Empower Spell allows the caster to boost the target or puppet with a massive flow of magical power from the caster’s own magical reserves. It also has the effect of giving another bonus that the caster decides to give the puppet as they push power into them.
