Blessing Spells or spells which provide various buffs are very popular within the adventuring ilk. As many different buffs exist like Boost Spells which boost a specific thing, the Empire sees these spells as more common sense and doesn't dedicate research to something so simple like breathing.

Gift Spells And You
What is the Gift Spell and why is it different from the other stat buffs? The Gift Spell is a high ranked temporary buff spell which wraps the chosen element around the target acting as a catalyst which empowers the element they use. This increases the associated element’s effectiveness by 50% for a short time. A super spell used in the empire to bless their warriors before battle, the gift spell is a huge boost in power of the chosen element and can make the strongest of warriors even more fearsome.

This is done more like a curse and can cause effects to happen on a target. It can be removed but only if all the conditions of the casted spell are met or if the caster were to die. Although it is seen as a curse on many worlds, the empire regards it as a boon and blessing if used in a proper way. A Heart Of Fire Spell casted on an adventurer may ruin their life as they will sometimes combust into flames or cause burning damage to those around them, which may make them a target to others. In the Empire there are powerful fire users who have this skill and can not only fully control it but also enhance their effects with other spells to further their damage output. Depending on how you use this curse-like spell, it will always benefit the caster in the end. Usually the spell is built to make it last a certain amount of time or a certain amount of magical spell casts however this spell can be further channeled and charged to increase the empowerment it increases or to lessen the side effects.

Aura Spells And You
What are Aura Spells and how are they perceived? Aura Spells are defined as any spell radiating from a source in some form of range, seen or unseen, that provides some positive or negative effects on nearby targets. They can be classified as Curse Spells and work similarly to them however their effects are greatly reduced and are temporary unless near the Aura Spell caster. Unless an Aura Spell user is extremely gifted or well trained, they can’t differentiate between friend or foes when under the effects of their Aura Spell. Therefore many Aura Spell casters will use one version of the spell as they can control what targets are hit.
Aura Spells are a unique classification of spells due to how they affect others around them. Mostly used on others, some Aura Spells can affect the caster as well. Although the spells can be built or enchanted into equipment, the casted and sustained version of the Aura Spells are very powerful. Although Aura Spells have a large range, the caster can manipulate the radius for better power or more widespread for a smaller yet larger overall group buff. Aura Spells are meant to be a passive empowerment tool able to provide the needed effects, buffs, or debuffs on a large group of people. Due to how Aura Spells use base level spells in an aura format, most spells can become an Aura Spell, therefore the Empire is categorizing a select number of them due to their need and usefulness in battle.

All damage returned to the attacking party will have a small chance to jump to other nearby targets. Aura Of War: Arcane magic enters into the target's body invoking rage and causing the target to go Berserk. They will begin to lose their sense of intelligence and rationale as they begin to show more primal powers. They will see all enemies of the caster as targets and will use their Berserking power bonus to great effect as they tear through the caster's enemies. Aura Of Unholy Power: Dark magic enters the target and is permanent. It is an extremely slow process as it increases the power of the target greatly. As the % enters into the highest level the high and need from the increased power comes at a great cost. With their thirst for power growing they begin to use the Dark power inside them that has been growing. They begin to turn into a Demon with the more power they use. The Demonic Power starts slow as it begins to show markings, eye colors, horns, hooves, or other aspects of the Demon of Sin matching their personality and actions. After hitting the peak of their power and fully transforming, they become a full Demon of Sin and are free to do what they wish. The effects of the Aura Of Unholy Power are slow to progress with a huge boost in power but will be a permanent change to the target. [Arcane] [Support] [Aura]
Aura Of Vampiric Assault: Dark magic enters the target causing them to become extremely powerful and violent in nature. They gain enhanced eyesight, smell, movement speed, and raw physical power. They begin to take damage slowly as their need and thirst for the blood of battle ensues. As they deal damage to the enemy they will gain blood and life as a % back, which will keep them in a sustaining equilibrium. As they are under the effects of the Aura Spell, their physical power increases rapidly as does their need for blood and power with the increase to life lost. They become a terrifying force to be reckoned with while under the Aura Of Vampiric Assault and it will last for a little while even if the target is out of range of the Aura Spell.
