The Astarian Empire Military
The Astarian Empire focuses heavily on creating the best possible weapons and armor used by the people who serve. Although some of them may be outdated when compared to the super futuristic races which may rule over vast chunks of galactic space, the empire will use unconventional means to turn the tide in their favor. Using the Swarm as a biological weapon in many situations, their troops will have constant support from the Swarm as they engage the enemy with their heavy weapons. Below is the main weapons and armor used by the empire in their galactic conquest developed to be the absolute best possible choices in any given situation.
Military In A Nutshell
The Astarian Empire also known as The Black Empire or The Black Fleet, consists of soldiers from all walks of life who fight for the same goal. Total domination and control. This has allowed the Empire's fighting force to aggressively and mercilessly conquer all worlds who stand against them as the great evil black empire of doom and destruction. 3 Main cornerstones make up the Astarian Empire's galactic control, The Leadership, The Military, and The Swarm.
The Leadership of the Astarian Empire follows a path of Feudalism. The Supreme King reigns at the top followed by the Supreme Lord. Supremes rule over the Magistrates and the Magistrates in turn rule over all other people weather they are military personnel or civilians of the Astarian Empire.
The Military of the Astarian Empire follows a normal military path being split into 4 main groups. The Fleet which consists of the Ships, their Crews, their Mechs, and their Bots. The Troops which consists of all the ground based forces within the Astarian Empire from Adventurers to Soldiers, and from the Heavy Armor Soldiers to the Heavy Armored Vehicles. They also operate the Mechs and Bots on the Ground. The Mages which consists of all the magic casting personnel within the Astarian Empire. As they are seen as a special fighting force, they are treated with high care as some spells can destroy entire enemy fortifications and bases. The last group is made up of the Research And Development personnel which focuses on research and development of weapons and armor.
The biological weapons of unfathomable numbers are known simply by all enemy races in the galaxy as The Swarm. They are a race which spreads biomass which can be used in all manner of ways throughout the Astarian Empire's control with their favorite being to destroy a world with trillions and have them die allowing the world to become fertile with life and resources from their own biomass reserves.
The Astarian Empire Leadership
Leadership of the Astarian Empire is made up of the Supreme Beings and the Magistrates who serve them. The system is designed to treat Supremes as Kings with their Magistrates as Lords who serve them. This has allowed for the vast galaxy and space to be conquered by different Magistrates and remains under the Supreme who governs them. Each one has a main world they operate from as well as a flagship which remains as their main source of power. While some Magistrates may have their own flagship, generally they tend to operate a battleship.

Astarian Empire Military Ranks
The Supremes

Magistrates
Magistrates are appointed by the Supreme who finds them useful weather that be from their power, skills, abilities, or just because. Many times the Magistrates are normal military personnel who go to Royal Magistrate Candidate School or the RMCS. Once they undergo huge amounts of training and various courses they will study under a Magistrate for up to 20 years until they are completely ready to become full fledged Magistrates themselves.
Mechanized Armory
The Mechanized Armory fields the Vehicles, Tanks, Bots, Mechs, and Ships of The Astarian Empire.
As it's reputation of The Black Fleet or The Evil Empire grows its forces maintain absolute dominance in regards to Strength, Endurance, Firepower, and Armament. With a huge focus on Magic Casters, The Astarian Empire is known to field extremely powerful magic casters inside their armored units as a nice surprise to enemy forces on the battlefield.
Tanks Of The Astarian Empire
The Tanks of The Astarian Empire are some of the strongest in the galaxy. They are highly armored and outfitted with some of the heaviest weapons ranging from Kinetic to Energy based weapons which can make most enemy units struggle to compete against them. Each Tank can easily out class and out gun enemy armor of 1 to 2 tiers higher than themselves. A Light Tank can easily defeat most Medium Tank and Heavy Tanks if they are in a good spot.
Bots Of The Astarian Empire
The Astarian Empire has built a large army of GAP Bots for use in battles across the galaxy where manpower is limited and AI can excel. GAP Bots or General All Purpose Bots are completely battle ready and fully able to deploy to almost any battlefield the black fleet comes across. There are some ships which are completely outfitted with entire world conquering bot factories to build them on world at a rapid rate. Although they generally stand the same height as a Orc they are equipped with light weapons and armor to swarm their enemies en mass.
Mechs Of The Astarian Empire
The Astarian Empire has developed their own Mech Units using various sources from the God Mechs of Godello and the older basic assault mech of the Kruel Empire and of the Nifflehime Defense Force. These Mechs are fully space capable and operate both on world and in space as needed. Although some additional models may have more than one pilot, they are still piloted by some form of intelligent person and not just an AI.
Ships Of The Astarian Empire
The Ships of The Astarian Empire or The Black Fleet are powerful and tough beyond normal comparisons. Starting out as airship, they have evolved into a true fleet of ships which allow the Astarian Empire to reign across the galaxy. What makes the Black Fleet strong is most of their ships are built on world to ensure they are always ready to drop onto a world in low orbit or to land when needed. Some of them are even outfitted with conventional cannons to allow them to operate on the oceans in missions to fit into a worlds technological level. From Sea, Sky, and Space Warfare to all forms of Shipping. The Black Fleet does it all.

Armor
The Astarian Empire has developed a line of personnel armor which includes their under armor outfit UAS, their uniform U, basic combat armor which a KIS can be worn with or without the armor, and the Kinetic Improvement Suit KIS. More information can be found on the following pages.
Heavy Armored Suits
The Astarian Empire has developed a line of heavy personnel armor which is built atop a KIS unit. These armor suits range from standard and magical suits to more specialized combat focused suits.

The Swarm
Created in a secret way using the great restructuring of the universe, Supreme King Astar needed a biological based fighting force which could evolve and fight in endless numbers to conquer the vast galaxy.
Similar to other insect like species found in Astar's past from the natural world to the fictional media created, this new hive mind like brood is 100% allied to The Astarian Empire and has a hierarchy which has the Supreme Beings at the top above the Swarm Queens who rule over the broods.
In standard Brood Colonies the Queens lay the vast numbers of eggs or larvae depending on the brood. Eggs generally hatch into either the Larvae of the brood or of the specific queen, or into the desired swarm unit. In ancient times Swarm Queens used to just spew Larvae directly as the laying method which then they would do their best to survive as they grew into the needed size to create the swarm units. This new discovery from Supreme Queen of Queens Daka brought new empire wide changes to the Swarm. All Swarm Broods who generally operate on their own accord fell into line with the new order.
Eggs were now laid into an egg sack and would hatch into Larvae, this came with a few new bonuses. The Larvae develop against the inside of the egg wall. The egg itself is a defensive and armored shell so once the Larvae hatch they absorb the egg shell into their carapace increasing their durability and survivability. The eggs now can grow larger and hatch even more Larvae per egg cycle. The egg can be given swarm biomass or it can absorb the biomass from the ground to grow faster
